Registration for Current Students

What is Priority Registration?

Priority Registration is a two-week period when only current SCCC students can register for the following semester. Registering earlier for the next semester, before the public, allows you to get the classes you need to complete your degree before registration opens to the public. Plus you can secure a better schedule. See courses.

What should I do before Priority Registration?

  • Review your course sequencing for your program to see which classes you will need. See your advisor to review your academic goals before registering and throughout the year. Advisor assignments are under the Student Tab, Advising Information on the My Sussex portal.
  • Have your payments current so that you can register online.

Register online during Priority Registration

What happens when Priority Registration is over?
Registration opens to all new students, which will limit your class selection.

Make sure to file your FAFSA
File your Federal Student Aid early. Move to Step 3 if this is complete. View the financial aid documents on your My Sussex portal. Visit Financial Aid for more information. Current students should register during Priority Registration. If Priority Registration is over, follow these steps.

  • In-Person Registration: Students that register in person are required to see an advisor for academic planning. Your advisor or the Registrar's Office can complete your Registration Form.

Make your payment
There are several Ways to Pay for college. The full balance is due unless you enroll in a Payment Plan or secure financial aid. Pay as you go! Take it easy on the payments with the Sussex Interest-free Payment Plan. Visit Online Payment and Billing.
