Regroup Emergency Alert System

Regroup Alert is Sussex County Community College’s emergency notification system. It allows you to quickly receive emergency communications and other important information via text message and email. Notifications may be about inclement weather alerts or other emergency communications. Regroup Alert system will NOT charge you in any way.
You should review your profile periodically to ensure that it is up to date.

Students, faculty, and staff must sign themselves up for the Regroup Alert System.  

Sign Up

  1. Visit https://sussex.app.regroup.com/login and complete the SIGNUP form using your preferred email address.
  2. You will get a reply message in your email from Regroup, where you must click the link contained in this email to confirm your signup.
  3. After you have completed these steps, then go to https://sussex.app.regroup.com/login again and log in to and add your phone number, a landline number for voice recordings, and any other email addresses by clicking on your Profile under the dropdown in the upper right of the Dashboard page. 

Regroup is activated for emergencies as described below:

  • Inclement weather situations
  • Active threats or other imminent violent threats
  • Fire alarms, natural gas leaks, and hazardous spills
  • Building evacuations and lockdowns
  • Biological or pandemic emergency notifications
  • Natural disasters
  • Power outages and utility failures
  • Campus closure due to declared civil emergency

Emergency/Weather Alerts will also be sent to the following locations

  • Posted to the College's website
  • Posted on the College's social media sites
  • On WSUS 102.7
