Incomplete Grade FAQ

  • An Incomplete (“I”) may be given, at the initiation of the student and at the discretion of the faculty member, only to students who have completed at least 80% of the required coursework with a grade of “C"or better.

  • No "I" grade may be given without the use of the required form. The completion date is determined by the instructor, but in no case may exceed:

    • Winter Semester Incompletes – February 15th
    • Spring Semester Incompletes – September 30th
    • Summer 1, 2 & 3 Semester Incompletes – September 30th

  • If approved, the instructor will complete the Incomplete Grade Request form which outlines the work necessary to complete the course. This is a contract and you will need to agree to the terms and conditions.

If your instructor does not respond to your inquiry you can reach out to the Dean for assistance.
