To view any ESTIMATED Financial Aid
- Visit your My.Sussex Portal
- Your User ID is your Student ID Number. A password was provided on your Admissions Acceptance Letter. For password issues call the IT Hotline 973-300-2333.
- On the top, click the Student tab,
- Choose Financial Aid,
- Click on View Financial Aid Awards
- Choose the proper Award Year
If you receive an error notice, there is no aid loaded to your account at this time. Possible reasons:
- You may have paperwork to submit or tasks to complete;
- NJ State aid may not be loaded if it has been less than two weeks since your FAFSA was filed;
- You may have issues with Satisfactory Academic Progress, a student loan in default or other issues that limit your eligibility. Check the Financial Aid Missing Documents section of the Portal;
- You may not be eligible for aid other than Federal Direct Student Loans for which you must opt in.
- Your program may not be eligible for Financial Aid, such as a Certificate of Achievement
The College Financial Plan
The College Financing Plan is a standardized form developed by the U.S. Department of Education for prospective students to compare the estimated costs of colleges and the types and amounts of aid available.
To view the College Financing Plan
- Visit your My.Sussex Portal
- On the top, click the Student tab,
- Choose the drop down arrow ”▼” next to Financial Aid to reveal all the financial aid choices,
- Click on Shopping Sheet Portlet
- Choose the proper year in the UNDG Shopping Sheet,
- Click View
