The SCCC Visual and Performing Arts Department Presents the Spring musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” The cartoon comic strip celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025. Come out and celebrate with Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang.
This charming musical follows a day in the life of Charlie Brown, the lovable underdog from the Peanuts comic strip. Along with his friends Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally, and his trusty dog Snoopy, Charlie navigates the ups and downs of childhood with humor and heart. From baseball games to kite-flying adventures and school assignments, this musical celebrates the simple joys and challenges of being a kid. Full of catchy songs and endearing moments, including songs like “My New Philosophy” and “Happiness,” it's a feel-good show for all ages.

"I Can! We Can!” focuses on a day in the life of kids in school. The class meets a new student, the class learns about other cultures, and each student tries different things they thought they couldn't do. Themes include acceptance, friendship, kindness and sharing.
This is a family friendly event where children will experience a creation station, enjoy the show and meet and greet the story characters, and a heart-shaped cookie and water will be provided.
