The College Placement Test assesses students' current ability levels in reading, writing, and mathematics and can be used to determine if taking developmental classes is in your best interest.
The following Accuplacer sub-tests are given: WritePlacer Essay, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skills, Math Computation and Algebra. Results are immediately generated at the completion of the test.
Make sure to bring your SCCC Student ID number and bring a valid photo ID to the test. You may re-take the Placement Test, (any or all sections) one time at a fee of $10 per section.
