Visiting the Library

Need materials from our collection or a copy of the College Novel but cannot get to us during our hours? Let us know, we might be able to set up another time that works for you or find another solution, like our Library Takeout Boxes.

Our Library Services Hours are: 

August 15 – September 9:
Monday – Friday: 9 am-5 pm

CLOSED September 5 in observance of Labor Day.

September 12 – December 16:
 Monday: 9 am-8 pm
Tuesday – Friday: 9 am-5 pm

Library Access Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 am-9:00 pm. (Outside of Library Services Hours the facility is open.)

Note: Hours may vary during holidays, semester breaks, summer sessions, and depending on safety and staff availability.

Additional Visiting Information

The Library Takeout Box process is easy:

  1. Search for library materials here.
  2. Fill out our Takeout form or contact library staff. (To contact library staff: email the staff, send an email to library@sussex.edu or call us at 973-300-2162 during open hours.)  
  3. Wait for notification (by email or phone) that your items are ready. This will include Library Takeout Box details and instructions.
  4. Pick up your materials at your convenience. 

 

Guidelines while visiting the Library

The health and safety of our students, staff, and faculty are important to us. 

While in the Library, in consideration of others, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Practice social distancing
  • Limit group sizes 

Note that the Library will close for sanitization/cleaning as needed, based on occupancy and duration of stay.
