Students looking to begin an associate degree or certificate program, continue their studies, or get ahead in their professional careers can start their journey at Sussex County Community College. Sussex offers an array of Career and Technical Programs that support the growing need for a skilled workforce in New Jersey. We offer 32 Associate of Applied Science programs that help students transition into a career upon graduation.

Registering early for the fall allows you to get the classes you need and secure a great schedule.

What should I do to prepare?

  • New Students: View the Steps To Apply. Additional information can be found below to help you begin your education at Sussex.
  • Current students: can use the Degree Audit feature on the Student Portal to see what classes to take. Advisors are listed on the Student Portal. Make sure your payments are current to register.
  • Returning Students with Some College, No Degree: We're here to help you find the support and resources you need, so you can focus on completing your degree.

  • Fall Semester: September 3
  • Fall Early Finish: September 3
  • Fall Delayed Start: September 23
  • Fall Late Start: October 28
